Build valuable leadership and communication skills
OUR MISSION
U+ Toastmasters is a non-profit organization that provides individuals with the opportunity to enhance their public speaking and leadership skills.
As a group, individuals support each other by completing projects in the Toastmasters Competent Communication and Competent Leadership manuals and enriching the lives of individuals as well as improving their well-being.
HOW WE DO IT
As a group, individuals support each other by completing projects in the Toastmasters Competent Communication and Competent Leadership manuals.
These projects encourage individuals to practice new skills through a variety of activities, whether it be a goal-focused speech or taking on a leadership role at a meeting. Individuals build confidence by leading the meeting, signing up to give a speech, and practicing impromptu speaking while gaining feedback.
